Canon EOS 1DX Mk II Has Been Officially Launched in Indonesia, Should We Buy it?
Four years after the presence of the professional camera EOS-1DX, Canon spawned its successors named EOS-1DX Mark II and this brand-new camera has now officially entered Indonesian market through the launch event that was hold in Jakarta by Datascrip as the sole distributor of Canon cameras in Indonesia.
Canon EOS-1DX Mark II is scheduled to be available in Indoneisa on May at a price of Rp 82.500.000 (body only). Datascrip target is to sell 150 units of EOS-1DX Mark II throughout 2016.
Canon EOS-1DX Mark II is intended for professionals who require speed and toughness of a camera. “The target is photographer who are running at highspeed, for example, sport photographer, as well as journalists”.
As a professional grade DSLR which occupy the top hierarchy of the Canon products, EOS-1DX Mark II equipped with a wide range of newest technologies from Japan manufacturer.
EOS-1DX Mark II has a 20.2 megapixel full-frame sensor which is paired with Digic 6+ image processing chip. Autofocus system has 61 points, 41 of them are cross-type.
In accordance with its role to capture fast action, this camera has very high burst rate, reaching 14FPS for shooting with viewfinder or 16 FPS for shooting with live view.
Canon also added the ability to record 60p 4K video with continuous autofocus thanks to Dual-Pixel AF technology. Each frame of the 4K video can be capture into JPEG with a resolution of 8.8 megapixel with ’frame grab’ feature. Shutter unit of the EOS-1DX mark II is designed tough to 400,000. The camera body is made of magnesium alloy and able to withstand splashes of water, dust, or even freze. Wow, should we buy it? 😀
